Circula Admin Web App
The Circula admin web app is used by the internal Circula operations team to process and fulfil all blood requests submitted through both the mobile and hospital web apps.
It serves as the central control panel that ensures each request is reviewed, verified, and completed with speed and accuracy. The admin system is critical to how Circula delivers real-time support to patients and institutions.
Admins are responsible for overseeing every transaction from start to finish. They manage both the verification process and the logistics needed to get blood to the right place.
Although AI is not yet actively involved in processing, the admin team ensures that all actions are handled with care and precision.
The admin app includes three main functions:
Request Monitoring and Handling All blood requests submitted by users or hospitals appear in the admin dashboard. Admins can review each request and click a “Handle” button to take responsibility for processing it. This locks the request to a specific admin for follow-up.
Order Fulfilment and Data Input Once assigned, the admin inputs the necessary details, such as the blood type, volume, and source of the supply. After entering this information, the system updates the status of the request so the user can track it in the “My Orders” section of their app. This ensures full visibility and transparency for the requester.
Delivery Coordination After the blood is confirmed and packaged, the admin arranges instant delivery using external services such as ride-hailing providers. This step is critical to making sure the blood reaches the requester as quickly as possible, especially in urgent cases.
The Circula admin web app is the operational backbone of the entire system. It bridges the gap between request and delivery by ensuring that nothing is missed, delayed, or left unverified. While users and institutions interact with the platform from the outside, the admin app keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
