Circula Web App for Hospitals and Organisations
The Circula web app is developed for hospitals, clinics, and healthcare organisations to manage blood data, coordinate with other institutions, and request supplies through a single connected platform.
It replaces scattered communication and manual tracking with a streamlined dashboard that provides direct access to nationwide blood availability. Each organisation can view, update, and act on their inventory using tools designed to improve speed, accuracy, and coordination.
This platform helps institutions overcome three major challenges: poor visibility of national supply, inefficient management of their own stock, and delays caused by slow transaction processes. Circula addresses these issues through four key features:
Blood Inventory Management with Blockchain Traceability Organisations can upload and manage their blood inventory through a private dashboard. All data is stored securely and also recorded as smart contracts on the Solana blockchain. This ensures every entry is traceable, tamper-resistant, and permanently verifiable, helping institutions maintain accountability over their supply.
Access to National Inventory and Request Tools Hospitals can search for available blood from other institutions within the network. When a match is found, they can submit a request either through Circula, where the admin team coordinates fulfilment, or contact the source institution directly. This allows for flexible, fast response in both routine and emergency situations.
Wallet System for Faster Blood Requests Each account includes a wallet that allows institutions to deposit funds in advance. Since every blood request includes a processing fee, having funds ready ensures that urgent cases are handled without payment delays. This mirrors existing payment structures but improves speed and convenience, especially during emergencies.
AI Assistant for Planning and Forecasting The built-in AI analyses past blood usage to suggest what types and volumes an organisation should prepare for in upcoming months. For instance, if O positive blood is used more frequently in May, the system will recommend preparing higher stock for that period. This helps reduce shortages and improves long-term planning.
The Circula web app gives hospitals and organisations the tools to operate more efficiently and responsibly.
With smart inventory control, real-time network visibility, and AI-supported planning, institutions can respond faster to requests, reduce waste, and contribute to a more reliable national blood supply system.
