Opportunities for Circula

In many countries, access to blood remains unreliable and inefficient. Patients often face delays during emergencies because hospitals operate in silos, with no real-time visibility into national blood supply.

Healthcare organisations lack the tools to manage their inventories, coordinate requests, or forecast future demand based on past usage. Circula is designed to solve this by offering a single platform where blood can be requested, managed, and traced with speed and clarity.

The World Health Organization and Red Cross recommend that 2% to 4% of a population donate blood annually to meet national health needs. Yet in many developing countries, 25% to 50% of that target goes unmet.

This shortfall represents not just a healthcare risk but also a service gap that traditional systems have failed to address. Circula is not competing with existing providers.
