The Circula mobile app is designed for patients, families, and individual users who need immediate access to blood during emergencies. It acts as the entry point into Circula’s ecosystem, connecting users to hospital inventories, registered donors, and emergency delivery support in real time.

The app simplifies what is often a stressful and confusing experience by providing clear tools to request help quickly, track progress, and get timely responses. There are five core use cases built into the app, each focused on solving a different emergency scenario:

• Find Blood Supply from Hospitals or Organisations Users can search for available blood across connected hospitals and organisations. When a match is found, they submit a request through the app. Circula’s admin team verifies the request and arranges delivery or provides contact access to the provider directly.

• Find Nearby Donors When institutional supply is unavailable, users can send emergency requests to nearby registered donors who are willing to help. This creates a second channel of support that can be life-saving during shortages.

• Give Blood (Donor Feature) Donors can register on the app with proof of past donations. Once verified, they are added to the donor pool and may receive emergency requests from those in need.

• Community Forum A built-in space where users can post questions, ask for guidance, or share updates related to blood emergencies. It helps build awareness, support, and connection between users.

• AI Assistant for Search and Routing The app includes an AI assistant that helps users identify the closest available blood source based on location and traffic. It suggests the best option to ensure faster delivery and improved chances of successful fulfilment.

With these five use cases, the Circula mobile app provides more than just access. It gives users real-time visibility, alternative paths when supply is low, and tools to act quickly and confidently in life-or-death situations.
